Transformers 6? Producer reveals that the sequel to Transformers 5 is in development

According to Hollywood producer Lorenzo Di Bonaventura, the sequel to Transformers 5 is under development, and it is not clear whether the original director Michael Bay will return. In addition, Lorenzo Di Bonaventura also revealed that Optimus Prime will appear in the sequel to Bumblebee.

It is reported that Paramount originally planned to make Transformers 5 into a series of sequels, prequels and the starting point of the story line of the Transformers universe, starting from Transformers 6. However, the reputation and box office of Transformers 5 directed by Michael Bay were very poor, which led to the abolition of this idea.

Although Bumblebee didn't have as much of a budget as the previous Transformers movies, it performed well and turned a profit for Paramount, so Paramount will develop Bumblebee 2, continuing the production model of the first film.
