Netflix announces Dragon's Dogma animation to promote sequel

Netflix announced today that it will cooperate with several animation production companies to continue to strengthen its original series lineup in 2019. The projects that have been confirmed include the familiar "Dragon's Dogma" animation. Since Netflix and CAPCOM have cooperated outside of the game in "Dragon's Dogma", perhaps "Dragon's Dogma 2" will not be too far away.

In the announcement, Netflix announced that it will cooperate with Anima, Sublimation and David Production, and these three animation studios will produce the new "Altered Carbon: Resleeved", "Dragon's Dogma" and "SPRIGGAN Defenders" respectively. In addition to the above new works, it will continue to cooperate with Production IG and bones to produce "Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045".

The animated version of "Dragon's Dogma" was produced by Sublimation and is based on the action RPG of the same name developed by CAPCOM. It tells the adventure story of humanity's revenge on evil dragons.

The game "Dragon's Dogma" was first launched on the PS3 and Xbox360 platforms. The game's producer Hideaki Itsuno has recently stated many times that after completing "Devil May Cry 5", he has already had ideas for the sequel "Dragon's Dogma 2" and is very willing to make a sequel. "Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen" will also be launched on Nintendo Switch on April 23. With the cross-border promotion of the animation, the sequel "Dragon's Dogma 2" seems to be coming soon.
