Netflix and Marvel have completely broken up after The Punisher and Jessica Jones were cancelled

According to foreign media reports, "The Punisher" and "Jessica Jones" have officially been cancelled. "The Punisher" will not return for the third season, and the third and final season of "Jessica Jones" will be launched soon.

Together with the previously canceled "Daredevil", "Luke Cage" and "Iron Fist", all the superhero series jointly developed by Netflix and Marvel's TV series department have come to an end.

What about the superhero gathering "The Defenders"? Given that Netflix has lost the production rights to all single-player dramas, multi-player gatherings have naturally aborted.

Competition among streaming platforms is becoming increasingly fierce. Marvel's parent company Disney has also joined the fray, launching its own streaming platform Disney+ and developing a large number of Marvel series. They obviously don't want the scattered Marvel TV IPs to become a threat to their competitors.
