No other members of the Justice League appeared in "Aquaman". Director: I want to make a pure movie

Recently, when the director of "Aquaman" James Wan was interviewed by foreign media, he emphasized that other members of the Justice League will not appear in this movie, but did not mention whether there will be any post-credits Easter eggs.

"I tried to keep the story focused on Aquaman. What the heroes did in other movies and what impact they had on Aquaman were not my concerns. I wanted to make the movie pure in the simplest way. This is a movie about Aquaman himself."

In the two solo movies "Wonder Woman" and "Man of Steel", other heroes did not show up and there were no Easter eggs at the end of the film. "Justice League" and "Suicide Squad" with Easter eggs at the end of the film are both movies about teams.

When James Wan first took over the "Aquaman" project, there were rumors that Warner required the film to be related to the DC Universe, but Wan insisted on not agreeing and almost quit. In the end, Warner gave Wan as much creative autonomy as possible.

The Aquaman film project began development in 2004 and was confirmed to be filmed in 2014, a year after Man of Steel was released and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice had just begun filming. Aquaman started filming in May 2017 and wrapped up in October of the same year. The post-production lasted more than a year and it will be released in North America on December 21 this year.
