"Ip Man 4" officially started filming yesterday, with the series' lead actor Donnie Yen returning. The film tells the story of Bruce Lee who went to the United States to open a martial arts school and offended the locals by teaching foreigners martial arts. Ip Man showed up and guided Bruce Lee to shock the entire Chinatown with martial arts, and to convince both Chinese and foreigners with his virtue, making them understand that martial arts is about integration and becoming a true master. Regarding the start of filming for the new film, Donnie Yen said: "I think this series can touch audiences both at home and abroad, mainly because the film never hopes to create a powerful hero, but conveys the spirit and moral values of the story through a kind-hearted man who loves his family and his country. Survival, life to life, April 9th will start filming, and we will officially embark on this journey again!" Tianma Company boss Wong Pak Ming once revealed that since Tianma produced the movie "Ip Man" 1, 2, and 3 in 2008, now entering the tenth anniversary of "Ip Man", it will gather the original team and use 400 million funds to produce "Ip Man 4". |
