"X-Men: New Mutants" new cast will be released on April 13 next year

"X-Men: New Mutants" will focus on the stories of a younger group of mutants, so the starring cast is almost entirely young actors. Recently, two young actors officially joined the film.

Anya Taylor-Joy, who has appeared in "The Witch" and "Split", will play the mutant Magik, the sister of Colossus in "Deadpool"; Maisie Williams, the actress of "Game of Thrones", will play the mutant Wolfsbane. This film will focus on a group of young mutants. As an "X-Men" with a strong youthful color, the film chose Josh Boone, a director who is good at making youth films and has directed "The Fault in Our Stars".

It is said that the young version of Professor X, played by James McAvoy, will also appear, which means he will work with Anya Taylor-Joy again. The two previously collaborated on M. Night Shyamalan's "Split".

In addition to "X-Men: New Mutants", James McAvoy's new works also include "Atomic Blonde", "Submergence", and "Gnomeo and Juliet 2".

"X-Men: New Mutants" tells the story of the adventure journey of Professor X and a group of students including Wolfsbane, Mysterio, Sunspot, Mirage, Vision, Cannonball and others. It will be made into a PG-13 science fiction film, shot in the United States and Canada, and will be released in North American theaters on April 13, 2018.
