South Korean disaster film "Pandora" released new stills and set photos Busan Train team

Another disaster blockbuster "Pandora" from the "Train to Busan" production company NEW has recently been confirmed to be released in South Korea on December 7. Today, a set of new stills and work photos of the film were exposed.

"Pandora" tells the story of the strongest earthquake in Korean history, which triggered a nuclear accident, and people tried every possible way to survive. This film is the first disaster film in South Korea involving a nuclear accident.

In the stills released this time, we can see that the originally peaceful life of Jae Hyuk (Kim Nam-gil) and his family working at the nuclear power plant was disrupted by the explosion, and the family was forced to be separated and encounter misfortune, as well as the desperate struggles of the people trapped in the power plant and the dilapidated explosion scene. In addition, the tense confrontation between the president and his staff in the Blue House due to differences of opinion is also shown.

Pandora is the latest disaster movie created by Park Jung-woo, the director of Invasion of the Iron Maiden (2012) over a four-year period. It also brings together the top Korean production team including the photography team of Veteran, the visual effects team of Train to Busan, and the soundtrack of The Attorney. The total investment is 12 billion won (about 72 million RMB).

The film also became the first Korean film to sign a contract with Netflix to be distributed in 190 countries and regions around the world, and will participate in the first Macau International Film Festival in December.
