China's first AI animation film released! It will be broadcast on CCTV next week

According to the official Weibo account of CCTV-1, China's first Wensheng Video AI animation series "Poems of the Ages" will be broadcast on CCTV-1 Comprehensive Channel from February 26.

According to reports, "Poetry for a Thousand Years" is aimed at primary school students. It is an animated story series based on poems in primary school Chinese textbooks, produced in cooperation with CCTV-1 and People's Education Press.

The column combines the poetry content and related background stories provided by the People's Education Press to produce Chinese-style animated poetry stories. It reconstructs the story script while respecting history in order to reproduce the poetic conception and emotions to the greatest extent possible.

Relying on the "CCTV Listening Media Model" of China Central Radio and Television, AI technology is used to focus on more than 200 poems in the unified Chinese textbooks and transform them into beautiful Chinese-style cartoons.

In this regard, some netizens said, "Such innovation not only helps to inherit and carry forward traditional culture, but also stimulates young people's innovative thinking and imagination."

It is worth mentioning that the hottest product in the cultural video field recently is Sora, the first AI video model released by OpenAI.

Sora can generate a 60-second video based on text prompts. The output video is comparable to film and television CG. The protagonist and background characters in the video are highly consistent, and shots from various angles can be switched at will.
