Sony shows first footage from Gravity Rush at CES

In August 2022, Sony announced that the game "Gravity Rush" will be adapted into a movie, co-produced by Sony PlayStation Productions and British film production company Scott Free Productions, and directed by Anna Mastro. At Sony's CES 2024 keynote today, Sony showed a clip of the movie "Gravity Rush" for the first time.

The clip shows a character leaping from a building, very similar to what happens in the game, and also shows a behind-the-scenes scene of an actor wearing a motion capture suit being suspended in a harness.

Gravity Rush was first released on PlayStation Vita in 2012 and became a popular niche game. Later, a PS4 version and a sequel, Gravity Rush 2, were released. Although it received good reviews, the sales of the series of games were not ideal, and the developer Sony Japan Studio was disbanded.

During Sony's presentation, they also briefly mentioned the upcoming "Legend of Zelda" movie, calling it "a thrilling journey of adventure and discovery," but did not reveal any more information about the film.
