Marvel's "Daredevil" starring actor: interested in trying to play the Joker in the DC Universe

Charlie Cox, the star of the "Daredevil" series that was officially revived from Netflix under Disney, recently discussed other superhero comic characters he is interested in playing during the Fan Expo held in San Francisco.

When asked by fans, he answered the question carefully. He said: "I'm not trying to surpass the actors in the past because they are all very good, but I think, well, the Joker will be interesting."

He previously ranked the various versions of the Joker on the big screen in an interview with GamesRadar, and said that Heath Ledger, who played the role in Nolan's "The Dark Knight", was the best Joker in his mind, but "it would be very cool if we could find some new way to interpret it."

In the ending menu of "The New Batman" directed by Matt Rivers, the actor of the Joker is Barry Keoghan; but the DC movie universe directed by Gunn is still missing a Joker. Of course, even if Cox expressed his willingness, he is unlikely to leave Disney and Marvel.

Daredevil: Resurgence will premiere on the streaming platform Disney+ on March 4.
