Garfield Christmas poster released on May 24, 2024

Today (December 23), the animated film "Garfield" released a Christmas poster trailer. The film will be released on May 24, 2024, starring Chris Pratt and Samuel L Jackson.

It tells the story of a stray kitten who is adopted and becomes a cute fat orange cat with a huge appetite and lots of wise words. Its father, who is fatter than it but very agile, also appears.

Chris Pratt voices Garfield, a Monday-hating, lasagna-loving cat, while Samuel L. Jackson voices a brand-new character: Garfield's father, Vic. Ving Rhames, Nicholas Hoult, Hannah Waddingham, and Cecily Strong also lend their voices.

Directed by Mark Dindall (Chicken Little), written by David Reynolds (Finding Nemo), the two have collaborated on The Emperor's New Groove. Comic creator Jim Davis serves as executive producer, produced by Alcon Entertainment and distributed by Sony Pictures, and will be released in North America on May 24, 2024.
