"Oppenheimer" will be released in China soon, and director Nolan will come to China to promote it

Last night, Universal Pictures’ official Weibo account announced that “Oppenheimer” director Christopher Nolan will come to China to promote the film, holding events in Beijing and Shanghai on August 22 and August 24 respectively.

The film "Oppenheimer" focuses on the role played by Robert Oppenheimer, the "father of the atomic bomb" in the development of the first atomic bomb. The screenplay is adapted from the Pulitzer Prize-winning book "American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of Oppenheimer" by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin. "Oppenheimer" is described as "an epic thriller that draws the audience into a thrilling paradox: a mysterious man must risk destroying the world to save the world.

"Oppenheimer" was originally released on July 19, 2023. The film is 3 hours long and has a current total box office of $659 million. It will be released domestically on August 30.
