Star Wars movie delays: new trilogy delayed until 2026

On the 13th local time, Disney announced that the new "Star Wars" movie scheduled to be released in 2025 will be postponed to May 2026. The new Star Wars movie refers to the tenth film in the series following Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, which was released in 2019.
