'Stranger Things' Season 5 filming halted due to Hollywood strike

The Duffer Brothers, directors of Stranger Things, say they will not start filming Season 5 of the series until the Hollywood writers' strike ends in a fair deal.

“Work on the script doesn’t stop once filming begins, and we hope to reach a fair deal as soon as possible so we can all get back to work.”

This means that "Stranger Things" is another film and television project affected by the writers' strike after Marvel's new version of "Blade". Due to the ongoing strike, the filming of the fifth season of "Stranger Things" has now officially stopped.
