The live-action movie "Saint Seiya" was released in Japan on April 28 and in North America on May 12. It was jointly produced by Toei Film and Sony Pictures, with Mackenyu Nitta playing Seiya, and starring Sean Bean, Famke Janssen, Nick Stahl, Diego Tinoco, Mark Dacascos and others.

The live-action film "Saint Seiya" tells the story of a street orphan Seiya (played by Mackenyu Nitta) who accidentally discovered his hidden power while searching for his kidnapped sister and may be the only one who can protect the reincarnated goddess Sienna (played by Madison Iseman) who is being hunted by the mysterious leader of the organization Guraad (played by Famke Janssen).
