The script for the sequel to the action film "Gray Man" starring Gosling is halfway done

The sequel to "Grey Shadows," Netflix's most expensive movie ever produced, is still in production and will be directed by the Russo brothers.

The Russo brothers said in an interview with Collider: "We are currently halfway through. We are writing the script for Gray Shadow 2 and we are still focusing on the plot. We are working hard on it and there will be more news soon."

"Gray Shadows" is adapted from Mark Greaney's best-selling series of books. In the first film, Ryan Gosling plays a CIA black ops mercenary named "Number Six" who is caught up in the power struggle and conspiracy within the CIA.

The drama set a record of 250 million hours of viewing time in 28 days and became the second most popular movie on the streaming platform in 2022, second only to Ryan Reynolds' "The Adam Project."

The movie not only spawned a sequel, but also a spin-off series written by the screenwriter of "Deadpool." Specific details of the two shows have not yet been announced.
