According to entertainment news magazine Variety , a new international co-production, multilingual live-action TV series of the same name, based on the manga “Kami no Mizu” by Naoki Aki and Hideo Okimoto, will premiere on April 21. Apple TV+ has acquired the broadcasting rights for the series and will support simultaneous regional broadcasts around the world. Legendary Television is distributing the series worldwide outside of France and Japan, where it will be exclusively available on Hulu Japan. The series was filmed over 10 months in France, Italy and Japan. The series is a joint project between the United States, France and Japan. As previously reported , Japanese actor Yamashita Tomohisa and French actor Fleur Geffrier will star in the series. Fleur Geffrier will play the protagonist of the original manga, Kanzaki Shizuku. |
