The film will start shooting in Germany and Eastern Europe in April and will be directed by Christophe Gans, the original director of Silent Hill. According to the official plot synopsis, the film will be told from the perspective of James (Irvine), a man who is devastated after being separated from his one and only love (Anderson). “When a mysterious letter summons him back to Silent Hill to find her, he discovers a once-familiar town transformed by an unknown evil. As James sinks deeper and deeper into darkness, he encounters terrifying characters both familiar and unfamiliar, and begins to question his own sanity as he fights to make reality make sense and hold on long enough to save his lost love.” Producer Hadida said that the "Return to Silent Hill" movie will still have iconic monsters, but there will also be some newly designed monsters. They are very confident that the new movie and Konami's upgraded game will push the series forward together. |
