The anime "Digimon: Ghost Game" will end with 68 episodes on March 26

The March 2023 issue of Kadokawa Shoten's NewType magazine was released today (Friday, March 10), and the magazine announced that the Digimon TV anime Digimon: Ghost Game will end on March 26 with the 68th episode. Episode 66 will air on March 12, and episode 67 will air on March 19.

The anime Digimon: Ghost Game first premiered in October 2021, with a new episode airing every Sunday at 9:00 a.m. Japan time on Fuji TV. The anime was suspended from March 20 to April 10, 2022, and then resumed on April 17. It is represented in China by iQiyi.

The animation is set in the "near future" when a strange story about a "holographic ghost" appears on the Internet. The protagonist is a middle school student named Amanokawa Sora, who by chance activates the "Digimon" left by his missing father and becomes able to see Digimon. Together with his Digimon Gammamon, he begins to investigate the abnormal phenomena that occur around him in daily life and slowly steps into the world of Digimon.
