Batman 2 to start filming in November

According to foreign media reports, "Batman 2" will start shooting sometime in November this year, and pre-production and cast information will be announced "soon".

Earlier this month, DC announced that "The New Batman" will be made into a trilogy, and the sequel "The New Batman 2" will be released in North America on October 3, 2025.

"The New Batman" is the first live-action Batman standalone film after "The Dark Knight Trilogy". This film is set in a different world from the DC Extended Universe, telling the story of Bruce Wayne discovering corruption in Gotham City and fighting crime in his second year as Batman. Director Reeves said that the story revolves around Bruce Wayne in his youth, and compared to previous "Batman" films, the film focuses more on the detective aspect of the character.

"The Batman" was released worldwide in March last year, with a North American box office of $369 million and a global box office of $770 million.
