"Black Panther 2" actress Letitia Wright: The sequel is already in the works

At this week's Golden Globes, actress Letitia Wright told Variety that a third Black Panther movie is being planned, but it may take some time. Meanwhile, another Black Panther movie is also in the works.

Wright said: "I think it (the sequel) is already in production. You know, we just had a great two years to make "Black Panther 2", and everyone united behind this work. We need to take a break, we need to regroup, and director Ryan Coogler needs to start experimenting again, which will take a little time, but we really want you all to see the new work."

She went on to say that although Black Panther 3 has not been finalized yet, she very much hopes to complete its filming one day. She said: "I always try to say positive words and think positively, and I believe that positive words will also create positive results, so the result I want to create now is Black Panther 3."

Director Ryan Coogler told Variety in November that he didn't know what his next movie would be. Marvel head Kevin Feige said in the same report that he had discussed a third Black Panther film and the two had exchanged ideas.
