Disney produces documentary about Marvel's father Stan Lee to be broadcast in 2023

December 28th is the 100th anniversary of Stan Lee's birth. In order to commemorate this famous cartoonist who created superheroes and even the Marvel Universe, Disney announced that it will broadcast a documentary about the character on Disney+ in 2023 and released a trailer.

Stan Lee (December 28, 1922 - November 12, 2018), whose real name is Stanley Martin Lieber, was born in New York, USA. He is a Romanian Jewish comic creator, actor, screenwriter and producer.

In 1941, Stan Lee's first work was published, the third part of the Captain America comic book series. Starting in November 1961, with the assistance of his partner, cartoonist Jack Kirby, he created comic characters such as Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, X-Men, Doctor Strange, and Daredevil. In 1972, Stan Lee became the publisher and chairman of Marvel Comics, and he left Marvel Comics in 1998. In the late 1990s, Stan Lee founded Stan Lee Media, but the company went bankrupt in 2001. In 2002, he co-founded POW! Entertainment. On January 4, 2011, 88-year-old Stan Lee left his name on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

In the film and television industry, he has guest-starred in Marvel Cinematic Universe films such as "Spider-Man", "X-Men", "Fantastic Four", "Iron Man", "Captain America", "Thor", "The Incredible Hulk", "The Avengers", "The Amazing Spider-Man", and "Big Hero 6".

On November 12, 2018, Stan Lee, a veteran figure in the American comics industry, died at a medical center in Hollywood at the age of 95.
