New stills of "The Legend of Qiao Feng" revealed, Jiumozhi appears

The martial arts film "Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils: The Legend of Qiao Feng" starring Donnie Yen recently released new stills, with martial arts instructor, actor, and director Xu Xiaoming playing Jiumozhi. The film, directed and starred by Donnie Yen, will be released in Hong Kong theaters on January 19, 2023.

Story outline:

During the Northern Song Dynasty, the leader of the Beggars' Sect, Qiao Feng (played by Donnie Yen), was a hero and was supported by the martial arts community. However, he was suddenly accused of being a Khitan and was deserted by his friends and relatives. While searching for his origins and enemies, Qiao Feng met and fell in love with Murong's maid, Azhu (played by Chen Yuqi). The two experienced the turmoil in Juxianzhuang, Yanmen Pass, and Jinghu Lake, until Azhu was mistakenly killed by Qiao Feng because of Madam Ma's (played by Wang Junxin). Qiao Feng finally found out that everything was a conspiracy by Murong Fu (played by Wu Yue) to restore the Yan Kingdom. Qiao Feng angrily found Murong Fu and vowed to avenge Azhu...
