WF Hand-made Exhibition 2023 will hold a "Mobile Police" simulation "Mecha Business Exhibition"

In the story of the manga and anime series "Patlabor" created by HEADGEAR, the Tokyo International Labor Fair is a trade show that showcases the most advanced Labor (the humanoid mecha in the series). The official Wonder Festival 2023 Winter Event will recreate this virtual exhibition under the name of "The First Makuhari International Labor Fair".

While the show may not feature pilotable mechas, the show will feature Labor mechas as well as illustrations and models of characters from the series. The official WF Figure Show held an open call for entries for the show from August 5 to December 12. Legendary mecha designer Hiroyuki Idebuchi (Patlabor, Symphonic Psalms, Space Battleship Yamato 2199, etc.) will serve as a jury member to determine the "Best Labor of the Year."

The event will be held on February 12, 2023 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture.
