New characters for Rurouni Kenshin: The Meiji Kenshin Romantica confirmed, to be aired in 2023

Today, December 18th, at the JUMP celebration, the official announced the previously revealed new additional character voice actors for the new TV animation "Rurouni Kenshin: The Meiji Kenshin Romantica-", and announced that it will be broadcast in 2023, so stay tuned.

"Rurouni Kenshin: The Meiji Kenshin Romantica" will be produced by LIDEN FILMS, with Hideyo Yamamoto (Cells at Work! Black, Strike: Blood, My Master Has No Tail) as the producer, Hideyuki Kurata (Made in Abyss) as the series composition, Terumi Nishii (Jujutsu Kaisen) as the chief animation supervisor, and Masaru Takami (Library Wars, TBS drama Doctor Doctor) as the music composer.

The confirmed voice actor for the main character, Saito Souma, will voice the male protagonist, Himura Kenshin, while the female protagonist, Kamiya Kaoru, will be voiced by Takahashi Rie. The additional characters, Myojin Yahiko, will be played by Koichi Makoto and Sagara Sanosuke will be played by Yasiro Taku. Please stay tuned for more updates.
