Peacemaker & Aquaman actors join action comedy "Killer Holiday"

It is reported that "Peacemaker" actor John Cena and "Aquaman" star Jason Momoa will star in Warner Bros.' action comedy "The Holiday".

Variety reports that the two met on the set of Fast & Furious, and considering they decided to star in the new film at the same time, they must have hit it off immediately.

The details of "The Holiday" are still under wraps, but sources say the film is similar to the action blockbuster "True Lies." The screenwriter will be James Gunn's cousin and brother Mark and Brian Gunn.

Both are also superheroes in the DC movie universe. John Cena's Peacemaker has been renewed for a second season on HBO Max, but given the recent large-scale cancellations on the platform, it is unclear whether the show will be broadcast normally. Jason Momoa's next appearance will be in Aquaman: Fallen Kingdom, scheduled to be released on December 25, 2023. His Fast & Furious 10 is scheduled to be released on May 19, 2023.
