Whether there is Top Gun 3 or not is up to Tom Cruise himself

"Top Gun 2" star Miles Teller revealed that he has been in conversations with Tom Cruise about a possible "Top Gun 3" movie.

In an interview with foreign media, Teller said that he was willing to play Lieutenant Bradley "Rooster" Bradshaw, Goose's son, in another "Top Gun" story, but the final decision lies with Tom Cruise himself.

"That would be great, but it's Tom Cruise's call. It's up to Tom, and I've been having some conversations with him about it. We'll see."

Paramount Pictures will undoubtedly welcome Tom Cruise and Teller back for Top Gun 3, as Top Gun 2 not only dominated the domestic box office, but also grossed over $1.13 billion worldwide since its release on May 27, 2022, making it Cruise's highest-grossing film of all time.
