"Camel Driver 5: Desert Gate" is approved for project filing! Continue the story of tough guys in Northwest China

On March 7, according to the National Film Administration's notice on the filing and project announcement of national film scripts (synopses) in February 2025, the film "Camel Driver 5: Desert Gate" was approved. The filing unit is: the Film Satellite Channel Program Production Center of the Central Propaganda Department, and the screenwriters are Li Mushi and Li Yanpu.

Synopsis: In the winter of 1949, camel driver Ergazi helped the People's Liberation Army defeat the bandits who attempted to poison the desert waterlogging area and hinder the PLA from crossing the Taklimakan Desert to liberate Hotan, and rescued his lover Pigeon and her father who were held hostage. After the victory, Ergazi joined the Chinese People's Liberation Army and married Pigeon.
