The movie "Spider-Madame" is scheduled to be released on July 7, 2023

According to Sina Film, Sony's new Marvel superhero film "Mrs. Spider" has been scheduled to be released in North America on July 7, 2023.

Starring Dakota Johnson and Sydney Sweeney (Euphoria), the film is the first superhero film in Sony's Marvel Universe with female protagonists. It has been confirmed that S.J. Clarkson (Collateral Damage, The Defenders) will direct and Matt Sazma & Burke Sharpless (Morbius, Lost in Space) will write the screenplay.

In the original comics, Mrs. Spider is an elderly blind woman. Due to a neuromuscular disease, she has difficulty moving and breathing, and needs to be connected to a life support system like a spider web. She has the ability to predict the future and has helped Spider-Man find kidnapped people. The movie may adapt this setting. She is connected to the "multiverse" and may be an important figure in opening up multiple universes.
