"Thor 4" movie plot synopsis released to fight against the God Butcher Gorr

After a long wait, Marvel released the first trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder. In addition to the trailer, Marvel also released the plot synopsis of Thor 4, revealing how Thor will seek inner peace and the villain played by Christian Bale.

Plot summary:

The film shows Thor (Chris Hemsworth) embarking on a journey unlike anything he's ever faced - a search for inner peace. But his retirement is disrupted by a galactic killer called Gorr the God Butcher, whose goal is to destroy all gods. To deal with this threat, Thor enlists the help of Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Taika Waititi, the film's director) and his ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Natalie Portman). To Thor's surprise, his ex-girlfriend is able to wield his magical hammer Mjolnir and become the powerful Female Thor. Together, they embark on a thrilling cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of God Butcher's vengeance and stop him before it's too late.

Directed by Waititi and produced by Kevin Feige and Bard Winderbaum, Thor 4 is set to be released in theaters on July 8, 2022.

The first trailer showed off a lot of Thor and the Guardians of the Galaxy traveling across the galaxy. Set to the tune of "Sweet Child of Mine," Thor 4 looks like it will combine the best elements of the Guardians of the Galaxy movies and Thor.
