Doctor Morbius received poor reviews and its Rotten Tomatoes rating is only 19%

Sony Pictures' Marvel anti-hero film "Doctor Morbius" will finally be released on April 1, US time, after several delays. Currently, the film's media ratings are online.

"Morbius" is adapted from the comic book character of the same name. Dr. Michael Morbius, played by Jared Leto, was trying to cure himself of a rare blood disease when an experiment went wrong, causing him to be infected and become a "vampire". The film's cast is not bad, including Matt Smith, Jared Harris, Adria Arjona, etc. However, the film's media reviews can be said to have suffered a heavy blow.

Currently, the film's Rotten Tomatoes freshness is only 19%, IMDb score is 5/10, IGN score is 5/10, and Gamespot score is also 5/10.

IGN's review said: "Morbius is a lackluster origin story marred by shoddy CGI combat and an overly serious tone that doesn't do the film's dark themes any favors."

Rotten Tomato critic Todd Clichrist said Morbius was a "bland, does-the-job, and very safe superhero adventure" that "seems destined to be forgotten before its credits even roll."

Gamespot called the film "Dead on Arrival" and said: "The entire "Mobius" movie is like a long trailer before the credits, until a clip promises that there will be more interesting stories in the future - but what this interesting story is, no one can guess."

"Unfortunately, Sony doesn't actually know what made the original Venom such an unexpected fan success in the first place, and is desperate to pull off the same fluke twice."
