Sean Penn said that modern men have become very feminine. A female star said: Nonsense.

Recently, the famous movie star Sean Penn said that "men have become very feminine", which has caused heated discussions online. In an interview with inews, he said: "I believe that men in American culture have become very feminine. I never think that being irritable, insensitive or disrespectful to women is 'masculine', but I also don't think that in order to be fair to women, we should feminize ourselves."

Later, Sean Penn further explained in an interview with The Independent: "In my opinion, men have become extremely feminine. There are some very strong women in my life who do not feel that 'masculinity' will oppress them. I think it is a lot of cowardly genes that make men give up jeans and wear skirts."

The Independent article stated that Sean Penn's daughter Dylan Penn was also nearby. When her father made these remarks, she did not say anything, but just stared at the sky.

After hearing Sean Penn's remarks, British actress Thandiwe Newton was very angry and posted on Twitter: "Dude, what are you talking about? Are you serious? You are such a bullshit bastard. You used to be handsome, but now, you are miserable."

"I feel bad for your daughter for saying this in front of her. Fortunately, her mother (Sean Penn's ex-wife Robin Wright) is a good role model. Please stop using this nonsense to drag down your new film "Licorice Pizza."
