The pre-sale box office of the 2022 Spring Festival exceeded 100 million yuan, and "The Watergate Bridge of Changjin Lake" took the lead

According to statistics from Lighthouse Professional Edition, as of 22:46 on the evening of January 22, the total box office of new films in the 2022 Spring Festival has exceeded 100 million yuan, and "The Battle at the Changjin Lake" leads the pre-sale list with a box office of more than 30 million yuan.

The top three films in pre-sale rankings are: "The Battle at Lake Changjin", "The Stupid Kids" and "Four Seas".

According to market forecasts, the total box office for the 2022 Spring Festival will be between 7 billion and 8 billion yuan. The first-day box office of "The Battle of Changjin Lake" is expected to reach 900 million yuan, and the final box office is expected to reach 6.5 billion yuan.

"The Battle of Changjin Lake: Watergate" will be released at 8 a.m. on February 1, the first day of the Lunar New Year. It is 149 minutes long and is the sequel to "The Battle of Changjin Lake" and the finale of the series. It tells the story of the Battle of Watergate Bridge in December 1950, the later period of the Battle of Changjin Lake, and revolves around the Watergate Bridge on the Changjin Lake water diversion pipeline, which is the mouthpiece of the U.S. military's retreat route.

The original team of "Changjin Lake" will continue to create "The Watergate Bridge of Changjin Lake", co-directed by Chen Kaige, Tsui Hark, and Lin Chaoxian, and co-starred by Wu Jing, Yi Yang Qianxi, Zhu Yawen, Li Chen, Hu Jun, Duan Yihong, Han Dongjun, and Zhang Hanyu.
