Anne Hathaway returns to star in The Princess Diaries 3, filming to begin in 2025

Anne Hathaway confirmed on her social media that she will return to star in "The Princess Diaries 3" and continue to play Princess Mia. She will also serve as the producer of the film.

The film has been confirmed to be directed by Adele Lin, an Asian creator who previously wrote Crazy Rich Asians and Rare and the Last Dragon, and is also the screenwriter and director of Joyride. She said, "I am very much looking forward to sharing the female power, happiness and mutual support in the Princess Diaries series with audiences around the world."

The plot of "The Princess Diaries 3" is kept secret for the time being, and it may continue the plot of the first two films. The film is expected to start shooting next year.
