Netflix's Tomb Raider Animation Will Feature Agent Carter as Lara Croft

Hayley Atwell, who played Agent Carter, will voice Lara Croft in Netflix's Tomb Raider animation.

Netflix's "Tomb Raider" animation is produced by Powerhouse Animation. It will tell the story after SE's "Tomb Raider" reboot trilogy and show "Lara's latest great adventure."

Hayley Atwell has been nominated for a Golden Globe and an Olivier Award, and she recently co-starred with Tom Cruise in Mission: Impossible 7, which is scheduled to be released in September 2022. Atwell has played the role of Peggy Carter in 6 Marvel movies, and has also appeared in multiple episodes of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the What If animation, as well as her own series Agent Carter.

Netflix announced the "Tomb Raider" animation in January this year. Previously, Netflix has produced several animations adapted from games, including "Castlevania", "DOTA: Dragon's Blood", "The Demon Hunter: Wolf's Nightmare" and so on.

The broadcast date of the Tomb Raider animation has not been announced yet.
