The Korean War-themed film "Changjin Lake" will be shown at this year's Cannes Online Film Market. Foreign media THR reported: The film is the most expensive film in Chinese film history so far, with a production cost of US$200 million (about RMB 1.3 billion), and will be sold globally in Cannes by Distribution Workshop.

"Changjin Lake" is produced by Huang Jianxin, co-produced and co-directed by Chen Kaige, Tsui Hark and Lin Chaoxian, written by Lan Xiaolong and Huang Jianxin, and starring Wu Jing and Yi Yang Qianxi. The film is set against the backdrop of the Battle of Changjin Lake, telling a touching story of a volunteer army company that held its ground and bravely killed the enemy in an extremely harsh environment, making an important contribution to the victory of the Battle of Changjin Lake.
