Director Gunn introduces the latest progress of the new "Superman" production. He personally does not expect any reshoots

The new "Superman" (also called "Superman: Legacy") movie directed by "Director Gunn" James Gunn was announced to be completed at the end of last month.

Recently, when a viewer asked on Gunn's Instagram whether the production of the "Superman" movie has been completed by 98%, Gunn replied: "Of course not. After the filming is completed, everything has just begun! There is still a lot of editing, visual effects, sound and soundtrack work to be done!"

However, Gunn later explained on Instagram the six key points of his filming of the new Superman, which are:

1) Be well prepared;

2) Don’t start shooting until the script is complete and the entire team is happy with it;

3) hire actors and department heads who I know are capable of doing the job;

4) Surround myself with people who challenge me instead of just saying yes to me;

5) Ask yourself every day – are there small flaws in the script or shooting that might feel like huge flaws when the film is edited?

6) Repeat steps 1 and 2 again.

Foreign media "GamesRadar+" inferred from the information revealed by director Gunn that director Gunn clearly knew what he was doing, which also means that everything will go smoothly before the new "Superman" is scheduled to be released on July 11, 2025.
