The sci-fi movie "Remembrance" starring Daniel Wu will be released on August 27

Recently, Warner Bros. announced that the sci-fi thriller "Remembrance" will be advanced by one week, from the original date of September 3 to August 27, and will be released simultaneously in theaters and HBO Max.

"Remembrance" is directed and written by "Westworld" producer and screenwriter Lisa Joy, starring "Uncle Wolf" Hugh Jackman, Rebecca Ferguson, Thandie Newton, and Daniel Wu.

Remembrance is set in a future Miami, where global warming has left the city underwater. Nicholas Bannister (Jackman) is an expert in a dangerous profession: he offers his clients the chance to relive any memory they wish. His life changes when he meets May (Ferguson), and the two develop a passionate love affair. But when another client's memories implicate May in a series of violent crimes, Bannister must delve into the dark world of the past to uncover the truth about the woman he loves.
