"Deadpool and Wolverine" has surpassed $1 billion in global box office and is about to surpass "Joker"

According to foreign media Variety, "Deadpool vs. Wolverine" has now exceeded $1 billion at the global box office. This is the second movie in 2024 to exceed the $1 billion mark at the box office after Pixar's "Inside Out 2". The North American box office is $494.3 million, the global box office is $535.1 million, and the total box office has reached $1.029 billion.

It is worth mentioning that Deadpool vs. Wolverine will soon surpass 2019's Joker ($1.07 billion) to become the highest-grossing R-rated movie in history. In addition, before Deadpool vs. Wolverine, Joker was the only R-rated movie to break the $1 billion box office.
