Game of Thrones screenwriter 2DB is creating a new series for Netflix, Hugh Jackman may star

Recently, according to foreign media Deadline, two screenwriters of "Game of Thrones", 2DB, will create a new drama for Netflix, and "Uncle Hugh" Hugh Jackman is likely to play the leading role in the drama.

David Benioff & D.B. Weiss (Game of Thrones, Westworld) will create a new series "The Overstory" for Netflix, with Hugh Jackman as executive producer. If the project is eventually fully developed and greenlit, he may also star in it.

Richard Robbins ("12 Monkeys", "Good Girls Revolt") wrote the screenplay, based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel of the same name by Richard Powers.
