Jack Black joins 'Borderlands' movie to voice Crank

Jack Black, a well-known Hollywood comedy actor, has now joined the live-action movie "Borderlands" to voice the character Snark.

Jack Black previously voiced the panda Po in the Kung Fu Panda series, and recently appeared in films such as Jumanji: The Next Level and Goosebumps 2.

The Borderlands movie was originally announced in 2015, when it was co-produced by Lionsgate and Arad Productions. Avi Arad and his son Ari Arad have produced movies such as Iron Man, The Amazing Spider-Man, X-Men, Ghost Rider, and Blade. In 2019, the official reconfirmed that the Borderlands movie is still in production.

The Borderlands movie is directed by Eli Roth and written by Craig Mazin, the screenwriter of Chernobyl.
