Woody Harrelson confirmed to return to Venom 2 to play Carnage

At the end of the movie Venom, Carnage, played by Woody Harrison, appeared as an Easter egg. Although the director of the sequel Venom 2 has been changed, it seems that the script is still going according to the Easter egg at the end of the film. Recently, Woody Harrison himself confirmed that he will return to the movie Venom 2.

Harrison said in an interview with foreign media: "I think this movie will be very popular. Venom needs another core character to take on the rivalry, and now you get Woody Harrison."

In the comics, Carnage's real name is Cletus Kasayi. He became a murderer after coming into contact with the offspring of Venom's red symbiote. It was previously reported that the plot of Venom 2 would be related to Carnage, and now it has been confirmed.

Venom 2 will be directed by Andy Serkis, starring Tom Hardy and Michelle Williams, and shot by Quentin's photographer Robert Richardson. Sony hopes the film will start shooting before November and is expected to be released in October 2020.
