The animation "Negative Positive Angler" produced by NUT is an original animation with fishing as the main theme. Recently, the official released the first promotional trailer and announced that the animation will be broadcast in October 2024.

It is understood that "Negative Positive Angler" will be directed by Yasushi Uemura, Suzuki Tomohiro will be responsible for the series composition and script, character design and general animation supervision will be Hiromi Taniguchi, and Nagashima Yusei will be responsible for fish-related drawings. In terms of voice actors, Sasaki Tsujihiro will be played by Mutsuki Iwanaka, Firouz Lan will play Ayukawa Hana, and Takaaki Tsutsumori will be played by Kaito Ishikawa.

The protagonist of Negative Positive Angler is Sasaki Tsunehiro, a college student who is heavily in debt and has only two years left to live. One day, he was chased by debt collectors and fell into the sea. Fortunately, he was rescued by Hana, a girl who loves fishing, and her fishing friend Guiming.

Hana encourages Tsunehiro to try fishing for the first time in his life, and Tsunehiro deepens his friendship with her fishing friends and starts a part-time job at the convenience store where Hana and Takaaki work. In this way, Tsunehiro gradually becomes addicted to fishing while struggling with difficult fishing terms and the smell of raw fish.
