The full version of Unity's real-time rendering animation "Windup" has been released and has been selected for the Oscars

Today (January 20), the full version of the real-time rendered animated short film "Windup" directed by Unity's global technical art director Jiang Yibing was officially released.

Windup is a masterpiece created by a multinational team over two years. The work has reached the industry's first-class level in animation quality, material performance, hair effects, and light and shadow rendering, fully demonstrating the power of Unity real-time rendering. The work tells a warm story of love and growth in 10 minutes, with an elegant and fresh artistic style as the keynote, and the characters, architectural style, music, etc. are all integrated with traditional Chinese aesthetic elements.

At present, "Windup" has been nominated for 19 global film festivals and won 5 awards, officially qualifying for the 2021 Oscars.
