The Last of Us TV series will be announced soon

Earlier this year, Sony announced a TV series for HBO, with writers Neil and Craig Mazin involved. Since the announcement, little news has come out. Recently, Craig Mazin, producer and writer of the TV series, tweeted to tell fans that there will be a "modest" announcement soon.

Mazin said on Twitter: "Correct. Some modest news coming soon. We are working on the playbook and other stuff. My tweets over the last 7 days are a small, upcoming change in American management."

In addition to The Last of Us, Mazin is also writing the screenplay for Eli Roth's live-action Borderlands film, which is set to begin filming later this year, and an untitled Pirates of the Caribbean movie, which is currently in the early stages of production.

As for the plot of the live-action series of "The Last of Us", it is said that it will revolve entirely around the game "The Last of Us 1", which is the story of Joel and Ellie's difficult journey across the United States.
