According to major domestic audio-visual media, the extended version of "The Wandering Earth", "The Wandering Earth: Leap 2020 Special Edition", has been scheduled to be released nationwide on November 26.

It is reported that "The Wandering Earth: Leap 2020 Special Edition" has added 12 minutes of new content compared to the previously released version (the length of the film has been increased from 125 minutes to 137 minutes). It is not just the addition of post-credits footage and old materials, but also will have newly created parts. The extended version will only be released in digital 3D.
