"Assassination of Novelist" new trailer and poster Yang Mi Lei Jiayin Tong Liya and others appear

The fantasy action-adventure film "Assassination of Novelist", directed by Lu Yang and produced by Ning Hao, will be released on the first day of the Lunar New Year in 2021. The new trailer was released today, showing the main story line of "mortals killing gods". The styling of Lei Jiayin, Yang Mi, Dong Zijian, Yu Hewei, Guo Jingfei, and Tong Liya was exposed.

The new trailer makes the plot of the film clearer: In the serialized novel "God Killer" by Lu Kongwen (played by Dong Zijian), the protagonist Kongwen is determined to kill God for revenge. And Li Mu (played by Yu Hewei) in the real world discovered that the progress of the novel affects the real world. So he sent Tu Ling (played by Yang Mi) to find Guan Ning (played by Lei Jiayin) to assassinate the novelist. As Guan Ning in the real world took on the assassination mission, a red-armored warrior also appeared in the "other world" and hunted down Kongwen. The two people in reality correspond exactly to the characters in the novel. The exposure of the dual roles of Lei Jiayin and Dong Zijian completely revealed the setting of the mutual influence of the two parallel worlds.

The official also released an IMAX poster, in which Lei Jiayin's role in "Another World" - the red-armored warrior appeared. He was wearing armor and holding a battle axe, as if he was about to break through the screen.

Director Lu Yang revealed that before the filming of "Assassination of Novelist" began, he teamed up with the special effects team of "The Wandering Earth" to integrate motion capture, virtual shooting, and the combination of reality and virtuality for the first time, and fully applied them to the filming, together to launch an impact on the highest industrial standards of Chinese-language films.
