The fifth season of Netflix's hit series "Stranger Things" is currently being filmed, and the creators, brothers Matt and Ross Duffy, are also involved in the production of the final season of the series. But they have already confirmed their next project through a new production agreement with Netflix. According to the streaming company, it will be a new psychological horror series called "Something Bad is Going to Happen." However, the series will be created and produced by Haley Z. Boston alone, and will be executive produced by Upside Down Pictures (the production company of "Stranger Things"), the Duffer brothers and Hilary Leavitt. The series will tell the story of a newlywed couple one week before their "unfortunate wedding." As the name of the series suggests, something bad will happen, and perhaps it is this suspense that will attract the audience. "We were blown away when we first read Haley's script," the Duffer Brothers said in a statement. "She is a major new talent with a unique voice - her stories are twisted, scary, funny, and...very much her own. We are so lucky to be producing her first feature, and we can't wait to share her vision with everyone around the world." In addition to this new series, the Duffer brothers are also producing at least two other drama projects for Netflix, including "The Boroughs" which will start shooting later this year, and another new live-action series adapted from the "Death Note" manga. |
