I Know What You Did Last Summer Will Be Made Into a TV Series on Amazon

Amazon Studios has announced that they will be adapting the acclaimed 1997 thriller I Know What You Did Last Summer into a television series for Amazon Prime Video. Similar to the original 1997 film, the upcoming series will also be based on the original 1973 novel by Lois Duncan.

Amazon said the TV series will be a modern interpretation of the classic movie version, but will still use a similar premise: a group of young people get into a fatal accident after their graduation party and are subsequently stalked by a killer.

I Know What You Did Last Summer is written and executive produced by Sara Goodman, formerly of Preacher, The Outsiders and Gossip Girl.

The TV series is currently being produced in conjunction with Sony Pictures Television.
