Will there be a sequel to "Tenet"? Starring: I really want one but no one can guess Nolan's plan

Recently, John David Washington, the male lead of "Tenet", was interviewed by the American magazine "Esquire". He was asked about the possibility of a sequel to "Tenet". Nolan has no habit of making sequels, and Washington also emphasized that he did not know Nolan's ideas or whether he wanted to make a sequel, but he himself hoped there would be a sequel.

When asked if the conversation between the protagonist and Neil at the end of "Tenet" sounded like it laid the foundation for a sequel, Washington said: "In my opinion, that's right - it means we will make another one, and see you in a few years." But he also said that this is just an idea in his own mind: "The reality is: I don't know. Nolan wants to do whatever he wants, maybe he has something else he wants to shoot next, the kind that has been developed for several years, maybe he got inspiration from something else and wants to shoot those. I don't know, I hope we can do another one with more expansion, because I think we really found something special."

Nolan's latest sci-fi and brain-burning spy blockbuster "Tenet" was released in China on September 4. Currently, the domestic box office of "Tenet" has exceeded 400 million yuan.
